Sarah-Jane Crawford and her partner welcomed their daughter earlier this month and have now revealed her name – Summer Jane Crawford-Murphy.

The radio presenter and her football manager other half Brian Barry-Murphy have shared their first pictures of their beautiful baby, with Sarah-Jane revealing she ‘cried tears of joy’ when she held Summer for the first time.

The 38-year-old told Hello! magazine: ‘It felt like we bonded with her straight away.’

Summer’s name was chosen as it’s about having sunshine after going through darker times.

Born on August 3, she entered the world listening to Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely.

‘I made a birth playlist of songs I’ve loved for years, which made me think about what it means to bring a life into the world,’ Sarah-Jane continued.

‘Some people do that with birthing pools or hypnobirthing, but music was my personal stamp on things.’

Isn’t that lovely?

The former Xtra Factor presenter announced her pregnancy to Hello! in May, revealing she found out she was pregnant during the winter season.

She said: ‘We are both over the moon. We found out just before Christmas. It was an incredible present.’

Although it’s their first child together, Brian, 41, is already a father to an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Sarah-Jane was adopted when she was just two months old and believes having a blended family can only be a ‘special thing’.
